Tailor-made probiotics
Together with every business partner we look for the most suitable probiotic product for their market. Formulations can be developed for a broad or more specific application, depending on the customers’ needs.
Our probiotic formulations are developed from a scientific background, which includes literature research and (in vitro) research. With our large collection of strains we can potentially develop every conceivable probiotic formulation. For each product the probiotic strains are extensively screened and only strains with relevant probiotic characteristics are selected. It is also possible to incorporate other ingredients in the product. Our experts can test the efficacy of each product in our laboratories.

Product characteristics
The bacteria used in our formulations are mainly from the genera Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium, but sometimes also Lactococci, Streptococci and Enterococci are used. Winclove is continuously searching for new strains (of new genera) to incorporate these in the products as well. When a specific strain is desired we can discuss whether this can be added to the formulation.
Usually our products contain 3 to 9 different bacterial strains with a total cell count of at least 5*108 colony forming units (CFU)/gram.
Quality
We develop probiotic food supplements within the scope of the Dutch Commodities Act. The manufacturing processes and hygiene standards within the company are HACCP compliant. Both our products and manufacturing processes are controlled by certified, external laboratories.
Packaging and delivery
The probiotic products are produced in powder form. We can supply the product in bulk, jars, sachets and capsules blanc or already printed with the customer’s label. For bulk, the delivery time is approximately 6-8 weeks.
